this week is really crazy. mum's not around, so i had to do most of the house work. i cook, i wash, i clean, all done after a day of tiring work.
that's why i stupidly nodded when the subway person asked whether i want a 1 foot long tuna bread. only realised it when i saw that bread, and i was like oh shit.. how am i going to finish it alone. no one's coming home for dinner. but in the end, i managed to finish that super long sandwich. felt so bloated. i really need a rest.
anyways.. today's fun-o-rama. went back acjc, met 2SC3 and the teachers. miss them so much. i couldn't recognised shawn from far. haha. and i finally went to island creamery! next time i'm going to set up a similar kind of shop. simple yet cozy.

i surrender. can't make 100 calls today. practically have no voice, no strength and no water. and my throat is really really sore. after all the talkings. sigh...
anyway, our department is expanding. so instead of being the one and only girl who goes out for lunch, there's a few now to accompany me. it's so fun to have newcomers joining us. not temp though. they always got tricked by us. once we told them that we don't have lunch hours, or that we practice 5 day week, so we have to work on good friday and only christian can have a holiday break, or that we work from 9am to 9pm, sometimes even to 10pm, or that newcomers have to treat us for lunch. and blah blah... the shock on their face are priceless. hahaha.
and there's one huge rabbit mascot going around the office today to give out chocolate eggs. easter day celebration. cute. we even had popcorn day, where we can get free popcorn provided by GV. we have to think of some crazy ideas to brighten the boring office days.

so shuang.. now there's only me and the other temp girl in the office. everyone went for their appointments. hahaha. the whole office is ours now. but i still need to call. scared that there's surveillance camera somewhere. you never know

if u talk to any 18 yr old guy now, it will be on NS. for girls, it will be work. although all of us have taken a short rest from schooling, we kept ourselves busy. why not relax and really rest? that's because we have to keep our minds functioning. we can't just leave it blank for half a year. it will rot and die.
anyway, work is fun for now. i had made abt 300 calls = talking to 300 different strangers, directors, boss, account managers, finance managers, customer service, joking and laughing with them or being scolded by them for no reason. it's a great sense of achievement. although it's always such a short conversation, with almost always the same word and same tone, u can experience so much, even getting to know the person's character. some are really helpful and friendly, but some are just so terrible. cold blooded. and true enough, the most accurate way to know one's character is through the first conversation on phone. there's seldom any pretendence.
so, i had successfully gotten 2 appointments and many follow-ups in 3 days. and i took 1 MC, had fever because i was too nervous abt work and a level. hahaha. i guess everyone is. i'm so glad we are finally getting our results back this week. let's just hope for the best! =)
